USPAP Compliant

Ever wondered about the true value of that bottle of wine you've been saving for a special occasion? Or perhaps you've inherited a wine cellar and you're not sure what treasures it might hold. You're not alone. Over the years, many collectors, clients and customers have reached out to me for help in understanding the worth of their collections.

In 2012, I decided to formalize my knowledge in wine . I had the connections, resources, and a budding idea, but I needed to solidify my expertise. That's why I became a Certified Specialist in Wine (CSW) through the Society of Wine Educators. This certification not only codified my education and experiences but furthered the foundation for a more comprehensive understanding of wine and its valuation.

To further enhance my skills, I attended a three-day intensive course hosted by the Certified Appraisal Guild of America. Although the course wasn't specifically about wine, it provided invaluable insights into the ethical operation of appraising and the standards required to generate a credible appraisal report.

Fast forward to today, I've taken another significant step in my valuation journey. After consulting with a former professor of NYU for Wine Valuation, and through the Appraisers Assoc of American, I decided to become certified in the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). As of December 2023, I am USPAP compliant through December 2025.

What does this mean for you? It means that when you come to me for a wine appraisal, you can trust that you're getting a service that adheres to the highest standards of the industry. I follow the same ethical guidelines and standards that I learned a decade ago and have applied to every appraisal since. Especially for those needing a USPAP compliant report, please know that all the Standards and Ethics will be followed.

Whether you're looking to insure your wine, donate it, or simply curious about its value, I'm here to provide you with an accurate, ethical, and professional appraisal. You can have peace of mind knowing that your wine collection is in professional hands.

Let's unlock the value of your wine collection...

Hope all have a good set of holidays to wrap up your 2023, and all the best in 2024!
